Built in 2010 in Belgrade, the Telenor Data Center was constructed according to the most demanding industrial standards. It is recognized as the most advanced technical building in the region of central and eastern Europe. This status was formally recognized in 2015 when the facility was certified according to the ISO 27001 standard for information security management.
Infrastructure and Environmental Control
The facility extends across 2,600 square meters, specifically designed to house telecommunication systems, information storage systems, and supporting equipment. This space is managed by a complex infrastructure that ensures unobstructed cooling, power, and maintenance, guaranteeing the keeping of a constant temperature and humidity level within standard defined boundaries.
High-Availability Power and Resiliency
Designed as a Tier 4 facility, the data center ensures maximum operational uptime. It provides a continuous AC power supply delivered over two independent power supply lines, supported by N+1 redundancy for its UPS, cooling, and standby power systems. This robust infrastructure allows the center to offer a contract quality assurance service guaranteeing up to 99.99% availability on a monthly basis.
Comprehensive Security and Onsite Support
Security is maintained through 24/7 video surveillance of all equipment, complemented by comprehensive monitoring and strict access control. The facility is staffed 24/7 by both onsite security personnel and onsite technical staff. In addition to physical security, the building is protected by an automatic IG-55 gas fire suppression system.
Colocation Services and Carrier Neutrality
The Telenor Data Center is the region's only carrier-neutral data center, which makes it possible to connect to all existing operators within the facility. More than 25 national and international operators are currently present, with connections managed via "meet me racks." The center offers flexible colocation services, including the lease of full cabinets, partial cabinets (one-third), shared rackspace, and secure cages for placing user equipment.
