This data center has a total size of 3,700 sq m (39,800 sq ft) with a fully built-out whitespace of the same size. The minimum floor-to-ceiling clearance is 2,550 mm (8.4 ft), and the maximum floor load is 1,500 kg/sq m (307 lb/sq ft). The minimum raised floor void is 700 mm (2.3 ft). The facility, which has a multi-tenant (mixed use) tenancy type, was retrofitted and became operational in 2010. It also offers a loading bay and lifts for easy loading and unloading.
Power
The data center has a dual-feed power supply of 16 MW and a total of 4 transformers with a combined power of 6,400 kVA. The standard power per rack is 4 x 16 A / 230 V (2 from supply A + 2 from supply B), with other circuits available upon request. The power density can go up to 10 kW per cabinet, with high-density solutions available. The facility is equipped with a 4000 kVA static UPS system and two diesel gensets with a total power of 4,400 kVA, providing N+1 UPS redundancy.
Cooling
The cooling system consists of CRACs with N+1 redundancy. The cooling capacity is 2 kW/sq m, with high-density solutions available upon request. The temperature is maintained at 22°C (+/- 3°C), and the relative humidity is 45% (+15% / -10%). The racks are arranged in a hot/cold aisle concept.
Security and Certifications
The data center has a gas (Inergen) fire extinguishing system with 60-120-minute fire resistance. Onsite security staff is present 24/7. The facility is Tier 3 designed and is ISO27001 and ISO9001 certified.
Connectivity
The data center is a major connectivity hub, with numerous carriers and fiber providers present. Carriers in the data center include Atman, CenturyLink, Cogent, Colt Technology, and many others. The Atman Network also provides connections to a wide range of carriers. The facility hosts several Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), including DE-CIX, EPIX, and Thinx Internet Exchange, which is the main node located in Atman DC Warsaw-2. The data center has 5 IXPs and 65 peering networks, with 3 network providers.
