NDC4 is a data center positioned safely outside risk areas for floods, landslides, and quicksand, as referenced by the NVE's caution map, and sits 50 m above sea level on the 2nd lower floor. The facility is approximately 600 m2 in size.
Facility Design & Capacity
The ≈600 m2 facility is structured into several zones: an outer zone (including the console room and arrival/goods transport), an inner zone (the data hall), and customer zones (secure zones). The design features a Fully Built-Out Whitespace of 600 sq.m. and offers various hosting options including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, and Shared Rackspace. There is a common console room designated for KVM solutions and control tasks. Remote Hands service is available.
Security & Fire Protection
Security measures include 24/7 Onsite Security Staff, Card Access Control, and CCTV surveillance. The facility uses an Automatic Firesupression system with a Gas-based fire extinguishing system for fire safety.
Connectivity & Interconnection
The data center offers the IT manager's wireless guest network, named "the IT manager's OpenZone".
Certifications & Standards
NDC4 was certified in 2016 according to both TIA-942-A and EN50600 standards. This certification is equivalent to a Tier III+ design. The facility is explicitly noted as EN50600 Certified with a Tier Design of Tier 3.
