DSP - Data Services Pacific (DSP - DC1) Data Center

DSP DC1 is a purpose-built data center that became operational in 2010, making it one of the first data centers to open in the early 2010s in the region. It is certified as a Tier 3 facility, indicating a high level of availability and redundancy. The data center is a Sole-tenant type and is housed in a two-floor building with a solid floor construction type, capable of handling a maximum floor load of 229 kg/sq.m.

The facility is fully built-out with 0.4 MW of power capacity. Power to the customer racks is robust, offering two lines per rack, each providing up to 32A at 240V. This includes a generous power allowance of 3,930 kWh per month per rack. To ensure continuous operation, the facility maintains N+1 UPS Redundancy, N Standby Power Redundancy, and a high level of cooling resilience with 2N+2 Cooling Redundancy.

DSP DC1 offers flexible colocation options ranging from shared rackspace to full, private 42U racks, with partial cabinet options starting at 1RU. The facility utilizes a hot aisle system and provides individual APC Netshelter supervised racks. The total available IT space (Whitespace) is 85 sq.m., and customers have the option of a preparation room to be wired directly to their rack upon request.

Physical security is paramount at DSP DC1. Measures include a fenced perimeter, Mantrap Entry, CCTV surveillance, and Card Access Control. The building is equipped with Automatic Fire suppression systems. Furthermore, the data center holds the prestigious ISO 27001 Certified designation, confirming its adherence to international standards for managing information security.

The facility provides comprehensive support services. Onsite Security Staff and Onsite Technical Staff are available during business hours (Biz-hours). The center offers essential Hand & Eyes services and can operate a complete set of other services for clients on demand. Practical amenities like a Meet-Me-Room (MMR), Conference Room, Office Space, Loading Bay, Crash Cart(s), Loaner Tools, WiFi, and Parking are also available for client use.

Network connectivity is provided through diverse options. Clients can choose to obtain internet access from the data center's ISP or secure a direct connection from the only local telecom operator straight to their systems. The facility maintains connections to two peering networks and has a total of one network provider integrated into its infrastructure.

Beyond physical colocation, DSP DC1 offers various hosting solutions. This includes the option to host services ranging from a single VM to a pool of resources. For hosted clients, the data center also provides Microsoft SPLA licensing and utilizes Veeam Backup and replication solutions. Additionally, the facility offers complete dedicated servers for customers requiring a non-shared hardware environment.
