Facility Design & Capacity
The facility has a Fully Built-Out Whitespace of 511 sq.m. and features seven ATOM computer rooms totaling 73 square meters. The floor uses a Raised Floor design with a height of 2.51 meters and a maximum floor load capacity of 567 kg/sq.m. The data center provides flexible hosting options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, and Cages, supported by Remote Hands services. The Fully Built-Out Power capacity is 1.3 MW.
Power & Cooling Infrastructure
KIO HER1 boasts 2N redundant electrical infrastructure, ensuring high availability. Power is supplied by six 219.6 kVA UPS systems for filtered, uninterrupted power (UPS Redundancy: 2N). Standby power is provided by two 600 kW diesel generators (Standby Power Redundancy: 2N) with 3.5 days of fuel autonomy. Energy efficiency is a priority, reflected by a design PUE of 1.7. The cooling infrastructure is also 2N redundant (Cooling Redundancy: 2N) with a total capacity of 112.5 tons.
Security & Fire Protection
The data center features robust physical security, including Perimeter Fencing, CCTV surveillance, and Card Access Control for multi-factor access. Onsite Security Staff are present 24/7, and video surveillance is stored for 90 days. Fire protection includes comprehensive fire detection and Automatic Firesupression systems, specifically a Double interlock preaction system.
Connectivity & Interconnection
KIO HER1 offers carrier-neutral connectivity, with major telecom providers already on-net. It also supports 2 peering networks to facilitate interconnection.
Certifications & Standards
The facility's high-availability design aligns with Tier 3 specifications. It is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and has obtained other relevant certifications, providing assurance of quality and security standards.
