ALAAN Cloud Services (Libyan Cloud Services Provider) Data Center

The facility offers Internet speed with an Active/standby configuration, ensuring continuous service even during failover. A Private link is also provided in an Active/standby mode for secure, dedicated connections. The power system utilizes an A/B AC Circuit for electrical redundancy. Only 1 public IPv4 address is included by default, with extra addresses available upon request for an additional charge. The network includes 2x firewall layers of defense and robust Anti-DDos protection. There is 1 network provider and 1 tenant offering cloud services within the facility.

The data center is a Retrofitted building that became operational in 2020 and functions as a Sole-tenant facility. The Total Building Size is 400 sq.m., spread across 2 Building Floors. The Total Plot Size is very small at 5 sq.m., suggesting the building may be part of a larger complex or the plot size refers to an auxiliary structure. It features a Raised Floor design with a Max Floor Load of 400 kg/sq.m. and a Floor to Ceiling Height of 260 cm.

The electrical infrastructure is designed for high reliability. The Fully Built-Out Power capacity is 0.04 MW. The facility utilizes a 2N UPS Redundancy system, described as Two modular UPS Modular double conversion topology. For Standby Power Redundancy, it has a 2N configuration with 2 different lines from national electricity company until power supply restore. The cooling system boasts N+1 Cooling Redundancy using CRAC down flow double circuit units and ducts that automatically trigger when temperature exceeds certain limit.

Security is paramount with multiple layers of defense. The physical perimeter is protected by a Fenced Perimeter. Access controls include a Mantrap Entry, CCTV surveillance, Biometric Access Control, and Card Access Control. The site employs Automatic Firesuppression using an FM-200 system. Onsite Security Staff are present 24/7.

The facility provides flexible rack options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, and Shared Rackspace. Technical support is available with Onsite Technical Staff during Business hours, and Remote Hands services are offered. Other on-site amenities include a Conference Room, Breakroom, Office Space, Loading Bay, and readily available Crash Cart(s). Parking is Available. The maximum power that can be drawn is 7 kW/rack or 9.72 kW/sq.m.

Customer visits are regulated: Visiting in working hours is available with rules regarding number and time length, and visiting outside working hours is allowed in compliance with Alaan's policy. The number of visits is determined by a first-month installation schedule and regular visits based on mutual agreement. Customized installation service (including cabling) is also available, contingent on mutual agreement.
