Panservice Data Center

The facility is an independent building with the entire ground floor owned by Panservice - AS20912, specifically designed for data center operations. Located close to Rome, it offers an exceptional advantage with latency as low as 1 millisecond, ensuring consistently low RTTs. The data center is equipped with DWDM circuits connecting to the main Rome IXPs and has direct access to multiple operators through nearby fiber networks, guaranteeing strong connectivity and reliability.

Panservice provides flexible colocation options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace footprints. These solutions are supported by professional remote hands and remote support services, ensuring that customers receive uninterrupted service and expert technical assistance when needed.

Having been operational since 1997, the data center has built a solid foundation of experience and trust in the industry. It maintains connections to five peering networks, which enhance internet visibility and traffic routing efficiency. In addition, customers can benefit from local internet transit services, further increasing resilience and performance.

Beyond colocation, Panservice also offers a server rental service hosted within the data center. This option provides high-performance internet visibility with scalable bandwidth that can be instantly adjusted to meet customer needs. By choosing this service, clients are relieved of the complexities of power management, air conditioning, installation, and server monitoring, enabling them to focus fully on delivering their own services.

The infrastructure supports rack-mount servers or other devices, with connectivity provided through Fast/Giga Ethernet ports on dedicated VLANs. Customers are assigned static IP addresses and benefit from a UPS-protected power supply that guarantees reliability. Security is enhanced with the ability to configure dedicated firewall rules, and systems can be pre-installed with Linux CentOS or other available distributions. For clients preferring Microsoft environments, Windows 2003/2008 Web Server Edition is also available at an additional cost. All equipment is housed in secure rack cabinets, with guaranteed minimum and peak bandwidth to ensure consistent service quality.
