Princeton Digital Group (Digital BT1) Data Center

Princeton Digital BT1 is set to redefine the digital infrastructure landscape of Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region. Strategically located in Nongsa Digital Park on the northeastern tip of Batam Island, this state-of-the-art data center benefits from its close proximity—just 20 kilometers south—to Singapore, one of Asia’s leading technology hubs. Built on a generous 61,063 square meters of land, Princeton Digital BT1 is designed with scale and performance in mind. The facility will ultimately comprise four dedicated buildings, each engineered to deliver up to 24 megawatts (MW) of power, resulting in a combined full capacity of 96 MW. With a targeted Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.35, BT1 stands out for its commitment to operational efficiency and sustainable energy use.

The first phase of the data center is scheduled for completion in 2024. Once operational, it will offer an impressive 149,400 square meters of fully built-out whitespace—space specifically designed to host servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. As a carrier-neutral facility, BT1 allows customers to connect with multiple telecom providers, making it a flexible and reliable choice for enterprises, cloud service providers, and digital platforms seeking regional expansion.
