A core pillar of the Fitjar Data Center is its commitment to eco-friendly innovation, operating entirely on 100% renewable energy. The facility is built on a massive 21,000 m² greenfield site, offering significant potential for future expansion. Currently, the center features a built-out capacity of 10 MW, with a fully built-out power potential reaching 12 MW. The data center provides 600 sq.m. of fully built-out whitespace, allowing for flexible deployment options ranging from full and partial cabinets to shared rack space and private cages. Engineered specifically to cater to intensive computing and High-Performance Computing (HPC) requirements, Fitjar offers industry-leading power densities with a maximum power per rack of 80 kW. To ensure continuous uptime and reliability for these critical workloads, the facility utilizes N+1 redundancy across all critical systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), cooling infrastructure, and standby power generation. This rigorous technical design guarantees that the facility maintains performance levels even during maintenance or unexpected equipment variances.

Security at the Fitjar Data Center is paramount, underscored by its ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and ISO 27018 certifications. The physical security framework is robust, featuring 24/7 onsite security staff, continuous CCTV surveillance, and automatic fire suppression systems.
