Invitech (Dataneum Colocation) Data Center

The Dataneum Colocation Data Center is establishing itself as Hungary's premier carrier-neutral colocation facility. It is situated within a large, former industrial building that provides over 15,000 square meters of space for conversion into a data center. This vast available space allows Dataneum to offer highly flexible, custom-built data center outsourcing solutions, typically for clients requiring over 400 square meters, with compliance options for EIA/TIA 942 Tiers 2, 3, and 4 standards.

The facility is built upon a foundation with significant structural advantages, boasting a floor weight pressure of over 2000 kg per square meter and an impressive internal height of 4.5 meters. For power, it secures high-voltage electricity access from two separate directions (2x10kV), ensuring resilience. Connectivity is robust, providing high bandwidth access to local, national, and international backbone networks. Operationally, the design allows client spaces to be fully separable, and adjacent office space is available, catering to integrated client needs.

The Dataneum Data Center became operational in May 2009 and is currently fully rented. This phase comprises 1,500 square meters of Tier 3 standard floorspace, which is designated as Fully Built-Out Whitespace. Services offered within this space include full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, suites, and dedicated footprints, complemented by Remote Hands service.

2N redundancy across its critical systems, including the UPS and cooling. Power is supplied by a 2+1 x 1.6 MVA system, backed up by a 2 (N+1) x 550 kVA UPS capacity and four powerful 1400 kW generators for standby power. Cooling is rated at 2N. For fire safety, the facility uses an Automatic Fire Suppression System utilizing FM-200 (HFC-227ea) extinguishing gas.

Security is maintained 24/7 with onsite security staff and CCTV surveillance, providing continuous access control. The facility features a Raised Floor type and is a key network hub, hosting one Internet Exchange Point and connecting to 11 peering networks and 1 network provider. This dense network infrastructure, combined with the comprehensive security and redundancy measures, underscores Dataneum's commitment to continuous, reliable service.
