The data center features a highly resilient power supply system with 2N+1 redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted electricity. Each fuse can have a dedicated electricity meter, with per-rack protection of up to 6 × 16 A (trigger characteristic “B”) and continuous load options of 3.6 kW or 9 kW per rack. Emergency power is supported by a backup power system delivering 2,500 kW. The facility includes three transformers and three generators, with continuous TN-S 3+N in-house cabling. The entire data center operates completely CO₂-neutral, powered by 100% renewable energy and TÜV-certified.
Environmental Controls
The data center employs a fully redundant 2N climate system with leakage monitoring. Building insulation is excellent, with no windows, and a specialized HD climate concept ensures high performance for air-conditioned racks. Temperature and humidity are controlled separately for optimal energy efficiency.
Data Connectivity
As a carrier-neutral facility, the data center provides high reliability and diverse connectivity. It features two geographical building lead-ins, two carrier rooms, and seven carriers routing data lines into the building. Structured data line routing is organized via meet-me racks.
Building and Space
The data center currently has 3,300 m² of net operational space, with a final planned extension to 7,000 m². Raised floors measure 100 cm with a surface load capacity of 1,000–2,000 kg/m². The layout can be customized as a private data center (PDC) with cages that may include visibility protection. The external air conditioning system (2,500 kW) is inaccessible on the 30-meter-high roof.
Security
Security is ensured through turnstile entry and a state-of-the-art biometric access control system, with full access control protocols in place. Permanent monitoring is maintained via video cameras and motion detectors. Fire protection includes VESDA smoke detectors, a fire alarm system with direct connection to the fire department, and gaseous N₂ fire extinguishing systems.
Services and Certifications
The facility offers fully built-out power of 3 MW and 3,300 m² of whitespace. Customers can choose from full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and suites, with a maximum power density of 2 kW/m². The data center is Tier 3 certified and ISO 27001 compliant, with onsite security staff available 24/7. Operational since 2007, it was constructed as a retrofitted facility and features expandable whitespace, a meet-me room (MMR), one internet exchange point, 26 peering networks, and one child data center listing.
