Designed to meet the growing demands of digital infrastructure, FRA5 represents a major step forward in resilient, secure, and scalable data center facilities in the region.
Facility Overview
The FRA5 Data center will ultimately provide 18,000 square meters (193,750 square feet) of premium technical space. This capacity spans two independent three-story buildings, offering a total IT load of 54 megawatts. Designed to Tier 3 standards, the facility ensures robust availability and redundancy.
Infrastructure and Power
Each data hall features a raised floor design, supporting full cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and private suites. The power infrastructure utilizes a block redundant UPS topology with 10-minute battery backup. Fully rated low-voltage backup generators ensure 48-hour fuel autonomy, maintaining operations during power outages.
Cooling Systems
Cooling is managed through an N+1 configuration of air-cooled chillers with free cooling capabilities. This setup provides efficient thermal management while optimizing energy use.
Security and Certifications
FRA5 is built with strict security protocols, including a fenced perimeter, mantrap entry, biometric and card access controls, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
