Originally known as Interxion FRA3, this facility underwent a significant transition following Digital Realty’s acquisition of Interxion in 2022. As part of a global integration strategy, the data center was rebranded under the Digital Realty name. This shift combined Interxion’s deep European expertise with Digital Realty’s massive global footprint, ensuring that the Frankfurt Data center remains a premier hub for colocation and interconnection in one of the world’s most critical financial markets.

The Data center is strategically situated in the eastern district of Frankfurt, a prime location for high performance digital infrastructure. It offers exceptional accessibility, located just 20km from Frankfurt Airport and a mere two minute walk from the nearest public transport links.
