Capacity and Infrastructure

FRA18 offers 8,080 square meters of white space and launched with an initial power capacity of 6.4 megawatts (MW), with plans to expand to 9.6 MW and a full build-out of 16 MW. It features robust infrastructure including 2N UPS redundancy, N+1 cooling and standby power, and 24/7 availability of both security and technical staff. The facility provides a variety of deployment options including full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, suites, and dedicated footprints, all supported by remote hands services.

Sustainability Initiatives

In alignment with Digital Realty’s sustainability strategy, FRA18 incorporates an innovative heat reuse system developed in partnership with Mainova. This system captures and repurposes residual heat from the data center to support the local district heating network, reducing environmental impact and improving energy efficiency.
