Kolo delivers secure, high-performance colocation, enabling ambitious organizations to scale their infrastructure to be fast, flexible, and future-ready. The DK5 facility in Copenhagen serves as a key digital gateway, engineered for intensive operations and acting as Denmark's connectivity epicenter.

The DK5 data center, operational since 2022 and established via a retrofitted construction type, supports a maximum power density of 30 kW per rack.

DK5's infrastructure is designed for demanding, high-density deployments. It features hot/cold aisle containment for efficient cooling. Its power strategy ensures 100% renewable energy matching through certified Guarantees of Origin, combining 70% dedicated wind-powered Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with 30% spot market optimization. Environmentally, it utilizes closed-loop cooling systems with low-GWP refrigerants.

Reliability is built into the core design with N+1 redundant cooling units and N+1 diesel generators providing 48-hour fuel autonomy. Power continuity is maintained by a 20-minute UPS battery bridge. A VESDA early warning system combined with zoned Inergen gas suppression ensures robust fire protection. 24/7 Remote Hands service provides technical assistance.

Kolo offers flexible colocation services to meet diverse needs, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, and Shared Rackspace Suites.

Physical security is rigorous, featuring 24/7 access control with multi-factor authentication and double interlocked door systems at all entry points. Security controls are adaptable, with client-specified enhancements available upon request.

The DK5 facility provides essential workspace options such as secure staging areas, unpacking zones, and dedicated customer work areas. Amenities for staff include parking, restrooms, and meeting rooms. The facility offers superior connectivity with metro fiber access and carrier diversity.
