Formerly known as Interxion CPH1 before Interxion's acquisition and rebranding by Digital Realty in 2022, this data center is strategically located west of Copenhagen city centre, just 25 minutes from Copenhagen Airport. Facility Design & Capacity

The facility boasts a total building size of 8,000 sq.m. and offers a fully built-out whitespace of 3,484 sq.m. It supports a fully built-out power of 3.7 MW. Customers can choose from various colocation options, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and suites footprints, with office space and a Meet-Me-Room (MMR) also available. Remote Hands service is provided.

Power & Cooling Infrastructure

The data center provides managed, resilient power with features like a redundant grid connection, N+1 and 2N UPS redundancy, and N+1 backup generators capable of supporting 36 hours at full capacity with high-speed refueling. It offers a full range of AC and DC output currents and guarantees up to 99.999% availability SLAs on power. Committed to sustainability, the CPH1 facility utilizes 100% renewable energy and employs sustainable cooling techniques such as free cooling, groundwater cooling, and waste heat re-use. Cooling infrastructure includes N+1 cooling redundancy, maintaining SLAs on temperature and humidity in line with ASHRAE recommendations.

Security & Fire Protection

Physical security is robust, typically featuring five layers of physical security, including a mantrap entry, CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, and card access control. Trained security staff are onsite 24/7. Fire protection utilizes fire-retardant walls, very early smoke detection apparatus (VESDA), direct lines to fire stations, and automatic gas-based fire suppression systems.

Connectivity & Interconnection

The facility offers a growing community of carriers, ISPs, Internet Exchanges (IXs), and other connectivity partners to reduce network access costs and improve performance. It provides access to major carriers and ISPs, direct access to the DIX Internet Exchange, dual-entry fibre, and SLA-based cross connects. There are 3 Internet Exchange Points and 18 Network providers present, along with 2 tenants offering colocation.
