The DC7 Data Centre is a state-of-the-art technological environment operated by T-Mobile, which opened in the Czech Republic in 2018. It is designed to provide a reliable infrastructure and micro-climate for hosting server and IT infrastructures, helping to increase service availability while reducing operational costs. The service is suitable for any company, public institution, or multi-national corporation wishing to operate services such as e-shops, websites, applications, or data backups on their own servers within a secure, professional facility.
This purpose-built, multi-tenant facility has a total plot size of 25,000 sq.m. and offers 2,800 sq.m. of fully built-out whitespace. The building features two floors with a raised floor design capable of supporting a maximum load of 2,000 kg/sq.m. It adheres to a Tier 3 design standard and provides flexible deployment options, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and private halls.
The data center is engineered for high-density power, supporting up to 20 kW per rack with a fully built-out power capacity of 8 MW. It operates with a high-efficiency PUE of 1.3, utilizing a free-cooling system. Critical infrastructure is highly resilient, featuring N+1 redundancy for the UPS, cooling systems, and standby power.
The facility maintains robust, multi-layered security. Physical security includes 24/7 onsite security staff, a fenced perimeter, mantrap entry, and comprehensive CCTV surveillance. Access control is managed via biometric scanners and card access control. For fire protection, the data center is equipped with an automatic fire suppression system that uses INERGEN and NOVEC-1230.
The service includes robust connectivity options, allowing clients to utilize the provider's pan-European, high-capacity, redundant backbone network for data and internet access. The facility is equipped with a Meet-Me-Room (MMR) and provides access to 2 peering networks.
The data center is certified to meet several rigorous international standards. It holds an ANSI/TIA942 - C / Level rating 3 and a Tier 3 certification for its design and facilities. It is also DSS PCI compliant and certified for multiple ISO standards: ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity), and ISO 50001 (Energy Management).
