Since 2003, Coolhousing has been guided by three core values: security, transparency, and an individual approach. We operate as long-term partners, dedicated to providing high-quality, fast connectivity and designing workable IT solutions. We also were one of the first in the Central European market to introduce transparent billing for real server consumption.

Security is our first priority. The data center and its surrounding areas are continuously monitored by a security agency's camera system. The premises are further monitored by a professional camera system with recording, operated under registration number 00033872 from the Personal Data Protection Office. Technical support operators are present 24/7. Entry to the data center requires two-factor authentication, ensuring no unauthorized persons can enter the server room or access any technology.

All server rooms are equipped with a modern VESDA VLF250 laser fire-prevention detection system, which is tested at regular intervals. To ensure complete safety, we also have optical temperature sensors placed under the double floor, even outside of the server rooms, to detect potential fire hazards.

Our power supplies are fully backed up. Short-term interruptions are covered by an N+1 cascade of UPS modules (70NET 40/33, EATON 93PM-50, and POWERWAT), which also protect the network from power spikes. Prolonged outages are handled by two independent diesel generators: a Cummins C330 D5 for IT systems and an SDMO 200 for non-IT infrastructure like air conditioning. Cooling is managed via cold and hot aisles with several independent, N+1 configured air conditioning units and Freecooling technology. An automated system monitors the infrastructure to ensure the temperature in cold aisles does not exceed 24°C.

Our network is a multivendor solution combining Juniper and Cisco technologies in a "Spine & Leaf" topology for high speed, predictability, and scalability. We use the Equal-Cost Multipathing (ECMP) method, which keeps all network routes in an active state simultaneously. This configuration makes the data center infrastructure stable, loop-free, fully redundant, and operated in a high-availability (HA) mode.

We maintain three independent optical paths in two different directions from the data center. Connectivity is provided through two geographically separated points (T-Mobile THP, CEColo), offering customers complete geographical redundancy. Coolhousing has separate links into the NIX.cz neutral exchange point and utilizes transit connectivity from Vodafone Business and ComSource, both providing full BGP tables and ensuring full redundancy across all data center routers.

Operational since 2003, the retrofitted facility provides 350 sq.m. of built-out whitespace and offers full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and cages. It is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified. Key features include N+2 UPS and cooling redundancy, N+1 standby power redundancy, and a max power of 3 kW per rack. Physical security includes a fenced perimeter, mantrap entry, CCTV, card access control, and 24/7 onsite security staff. The data center also provides 24/7 onsite technical staff, Remote Hands services, automatic fire suppression, a Meet-Me-Room (MMR), conference and breakrooms, and dedicated parking.
