Nej.cz (TH Ivancice) Data Center

The Data center Ivancice is situated at the Ivancice-Alexovice site, a strategic location at the intersection of the main spinal routes connecting Vienna-Warsaw and Prague-Brno-Bratislava. This two-storey building provides seven technology rooms with a total area of 650 m2, all equipped with MERO technology flooring and dedicated separate cable management.

The center supports high-capacity data circuits of up to 40 Gbps. It maintains 10 Gbps connections to NIX (Neutral Internet eXchange), CE Colo, and TTC Telekomunikace, along with a 10 Gbps connection to the Slovak SIX. International IP connectivity is supplied from Prague, Brno, and Bratislava.

The data center houses a variety of endings for both local and long-haul optical networks. This setup allows clients to utilize the services of other operators as needed. Furthermore, the Data center Brno provides access to all services of the provider's own optical backbone network.

The provider's own network (itself s.r.o.) is robust, featuring two diversified fiber routes that provide connections in Prague, Vienna, and Bratislava. Additionally, there are two diversified fiber routes providing connectivity in the direction of Brno.

A comprehensive range of cooling solutions is used, with each room featuring a branded air conditioning system with n+1 redundancy. The temperature and humidity are permanently controlled, typically maintained at 22°C (± 2°C) and 50% humidity (± 10%). The system uses pressurized cool air forced into the double floor, cooling equipment via airflow from the floor or through a hot and cold aisle system.

The telecommunication rooms are equipped with self-extinguishing systems using FM-200 gas and an electronic fire alarm, both connected to a monitoring center. Building security includes an electronic alarm system linked to an on-site surveillance counter, a camera system with recording for the network operation center, and chip-based independent access for each customer.

The power supply is secured by two separate distribution systems, which are backed up by 160 kVA Caterpillar diesel generators with their own protection systems; connection to a central UPS is also possible. The facility offers full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and remote hands. The 2-floor building supports a max floor load of 600 kg/sq.m. and utilizes 1 peering network and 1 network provider.
