ZonerCloud’s secondary data center, operated by Kovoterm - služby Brno, a.s., is located on Cejl Street in Brno. This facility serves as a Tier II-classified backup and disaster recovery site. Its primary purpose is to support off-site replication and ensure system continuity for the company's main operations, enabling seamless failover and high service availability.
Infrastructure and Environment
The data center features rack-mounted servers housed in constantly air-conditioned rooms. The power infrastructure is highly resilient, backed up first by a UPS system and subsequently by a diesel aggregate (generator). The facility also provides remote reboot capabilities for connected equipment.
Security and Access
The site is protected by 24/7 physical and electronic security, with security staff present onsite around the clock. Clients are provided with non-stop access to their servers, 365 days a year.
Connectivity and Redundancy
To ensure high availability, the data center maintains connectivity through dual optical circuits and utilizes a separate ISP from the primary site. This setup provides essential geographic and network redundancy across ZonerCloud’s infrastructure.
