ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT Bangkok 1)
STT Bangkok 1 is a purpose-built, AI-ready, carrier-neutral data centre in Hua Mak, central Bangkok, that began operations in 2021. It's a key facility for STT GDC Thailand, a joint venture between Frasers Property Limited (FPL) and ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). The facility spans a total building size of 30,000 sq.m., offering 7,600 sq.m. of fully built-out whitespace and a substantial fully built-out IT load of 22 MW.
Service Offerings
The data centre provides comprehensive colocation solutions, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites. Crucially, it is designed for demanding workloads like AI and HPC, supporting high-density computing with air-cooled rack densities up to 44 KW and liquid-cooled rack densities exceeding 100 KW. The facility also provides Remote Hands support to assist customers with their deployments.
Power & Cooling Redundancy
STT Bangkok 1 is engineered for maximum uptime with a design that meets the Uptime Tier 3 certification standard. Its electrical infrastructure features 2N UPS Redundancy and N+2 Standby Power Redundancy, ensuring concurrently maintainable operations. Cooling resilience is equally robust with 2N Cooling Redundancy. This high efficiency is reflected in its ultra-low target PUE of 1.4, with a maximum power per rack of 150 kW.

The facility holds extensive, globally recognised certifications, demonstrating its commitment to security, reliability, and sustainability. Key certifications include Uptime Tier III and TIA-942 Rated 3 for infrastructure reliability, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS for information security and payment processing compliance, and a commitment to risk management via TVRA compliance. Sustainability efforts are validated by LEED Gold certification for design and ISO 50001 for energy management, along with adherence to the SS 564 Part-1:2020 sustainable data centre standard.
Security Measures
Security operates on a multi-layered, 24/7 basis with Onsite Security Staff. Physical protection features a Fenced Perimeter, Mantrap Entry, and stringent access control via Card Access Control and Biometric Access Control. The entire perimeter and interior are monitored by CCTV surveillance. Fire suppression is managed by an Automatic Firesupression system utilizing a Gas supression system.

To support customer operations and comfort, the facility provides essential amenities including a dedicated Breakroom and a Loading Bay for equipment staging. Continuous operational support is guaranteed by the presence of 24/7 Onsite Technical Staff.
