The Chinacache Atecsys Data Center, situated in the Shunyi Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Area next to Beijing International Airport, is a world-renowned, carrier-neutral facility. It holds the distinction of being the largest data center in Beijing based on its total number of racks.
Facility Capacity
The data center is a colossal structure spread across a construction area of 80,000 square meters. It comprises a total of 10 buildings, specifically nine data center buildings and one administration center. Due to each of the nine data centers containing over 3,000 rack spaces, the entire location boasts more than 27,000 racks. Furthermore, the facility constitutes over 15,000 cabinets, underscoring its massive scale.
Power Infrastructure
Chinacache Atecsys is certified with the International TIA-942 Tier-III+ certification, signifying its robust and highly available power and cooling infrastructure. The data center is also prominently rated as a National Class A data center, highlighting its high standards for reliability and operational excellence.

Network Connectivity
The facility is highly prominent for its network capabilities, operating as a carrier-neutral data center that supports interconnectivity between numerous telecommunication carriers and colocation providers. It is the official home of CHN-IX, the first carrier-neutral internet exchange in Mainland China, developed in collaboration with AMS-IX. This exchange provides essential interconnect and peering services to Internet Content Providers (ICPs) and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in China.
