Megawire’s data center is a purpose built facility that became operational in 2023, designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern digital ecosystems. The infrastructure is built to Tier 3 standards and carries official Tier 3 certification, ensuring a high performance environment that exceeds standard operating requirements. By utilizing a diverse portfolio of interconnection services, clients can configure their circuits and physical infrastructure to optimize both power efficiency and uptime.

The facility boasts a robust power architecture with a fully built out and live capacity of 2 MW. Supporting high density deployments, the center can deliver a maximum power of 1,200 kW per rack. This electrical system is reinforced by N+2 UPS redundancy using APC technology, ensuring that power remains stable even during component failures.

To maintain optimal hardware performance and longevity, Megawire employs an advanced thermal management strategy. The facility utilizes Liebert cooling systems configured with N+2 redundancy. This level of over provisioning ensures that even if multiple cooling units require maintenance or fail, the ambient temperature for your private racks or shared cabinets remains within strict operational tolerances.

Reliability is anchored by a comprehensive standby power system designed with N+1 redundancy. In the event of a primary grid failure, the facility transitions to Diesel and LNG Generators to maintain continuous operations. This dual fuel approach provides an extra layer of security, ensuring the Colocation Platform remains online regardless of external utility conditions.

Security is integrated into every layer of the facility, which is SOC 2 Type II Certified. Physical access is strictly regulated through a multi tier authentication process involving Biometric Access Control, card readers, and CCTV surveillance. The site is further protected by onsite security staff during business hours and an automatic fire suppression system to safeguard physical assets.

Megawire provides a dynamic interconnection environment featuring a dedicated Meet Me Room and access to three distinct network providers. Whether you require a complex private rack or a simple single cabinet, the facility supports tailored data center cabling solutions. This ecosystem allows for seamless integration with a wide variety of service providers and partners within a rapidly growing digital landscape.

The facility is designed for human operational efficiency as much as hardware performance. It features a suite of amenities including conference rooms, breakrooms, office spaces, and WiFi for visiting staff. For technical needs, Megawire provides "Remote Hands" services, onsite technical staff during business hours, and essential equipment like crash carts and loaner tools to assist with local or remote deployments.
