151 Front Street West is the largest colocation facility and the most important carrier hotel in Canada. Strategically positioned next to Union Station, it offers easy access to Toronto’s subway and streetcar systems, as well as the GO Transit Union Station Bus Terminal. The data centre connects to the Toronto Internet Exchange (TorIX) and provides swift connections to the city’s financial district. It supports a vast ecosystem of carriers, making it ideal for cloud services, hosting, and large carrier networks.
Facility Specifications
The data centre features 205,000 sq. ft. (19,045 m²) of IT space powered by 20 MW with 24-hour on-site generator backup. It employs a 2N UPS configuration with a 15-minute UPS backup and an N+1 cooling configuration. Security measures include Tier 3 mantrap entry, CCTV surveillance, biometric and card access control, and a VESDA fire detection and suppression system. Construction is based on a retrofitted Meet-Me-Room (MMR). Additional offerings include full and partial cabinets, shared rack space, cages, suites, build-to-suit footprints, and remote hands support with 24/7 onsite security staff.

The facility hosts one internet exchange point, four peering networks, and two network providers. It supports multiple tenants offering colocation and includes 11 child data centre listings.
