Priority Colo Inc. (TOR2) Data Center

The Markham facility is a colocation-focused data centre primarily designed for cage and multiple full cabinet customers. Cabinet enclosures are available in both full and half cabinet configurations, with approximately 30 cabinets per pod utilizing cold aisle containment technology. The facility offers 5,500 sq. ft. of white space and 1.75 MW of power capacity. It has been operational since 2013, built as a retrofitted structure, and supports multi-tenant (mixed-use) operations with expandable whitespace and roof access. Available colocation options include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, Suites, and Footprints.

This facility features fully redundant infrastructure including Powerware UPS units, HVAC systems, glycol/loop pumps and controls, and cooling towers. It utilizes a raised floor cooling configuration and includes a dedicated Caterpillar diesel generator and ASCO transfer switch. With over 10,000 litres of diesel storage, the site can sustain full design load operations for more than 48 hours during extended utility outages.

IP transit is delivered via AS53999’s BGP transit mix, currently consisting of Tata, Level3, Zayo, and extensive public and private peering through TorIX and direct PNIs. The facility is connected to 151 Front Street West through redundant fibre paths provided by Hydro One Telecom and Rogers Business Solutions. Managed Layer 2 transit is available over both paths to extend VLANs and interconnects to and from 151 Front Street.

Security is ensured with 24/7 onsite personnel, CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, and card access systems. Fire protection includes an interlocking dry-pipe suppression system using a TotalPAC pre-action cabinet that is integrated with the base building’s alarm system.

The facility provides Remote Hands support and is serviced by 7 network providers. It is designed to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance colocation solutions for enterprise-grade workloads.
