Telehouse Canada Data Center

Telehouse Canada operates three data centres in downtown Toronto, connected by a dark fibre network that enables interconnections to over 200 carriers, ISPs, and ASPs. This extensive network provides customers with fast and efficient access to key North American markets.

The 905 King Street West data centre hosts the dark fibre network and connects to the 151 and 250 Front Street West locations through high-capacity rings. This setup allows customers direct access to carriers via simple cross-connects in the Meet Me Rooms at these Front Street sites. The 905 King Street West facility benefits from excellent transport connections, ample parking, and easy access to Toronto’s downtown area, offering all the advantages of a bustling city centre without compromising connectivity.

The data centre includes 69,000 sq.ft (6,410 m²) of IT space, featuring a 2N UPS power configuration with 15-minute UPS backup and an N+1 cooling system. It is equipped with VESDA fire detection and onsite 24-hour generator backup power with an 8 MW capacity to ensure continuous operation.

Customers have flexible choices including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, suites, build-to-suit options, and footprints, catering to a variety of IT infrastructure needs.

Security is comprehensive, with remote hands support, mantrap entry systems, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, biometric and card access control, and automatic fire suppression systems in place to protect the facility and its data.

The data centre maintains 24/7 onsite security staff, multiple Meet-Me-Rooms (MMR), three peering networks, and one network provider to guarantee high-quality connectivity and support for its customers.
