Opened in 2006 as a state of the art facility, iWeb CL is a retrofitted office space spanning a total building size of 1,580 square meters. The facility boasts a 20,000 square foot total footprint, with 17,000 square feet dedicated specifically to the datacenter floor, approximately 222 square meters of fully built out whitespace. It is designed to house up to 12,000 servers and 132 full racks, offering versatile colocation options ranging from shared rackspace and partial cabinets to private cages and full suites.

Network Reliability and Connectivity

The facility provides a robust network environment backed by a 100 percent uptime SLA. Customers benefit from a choice between a High Quality Network or an unmetered network, supported by 10 different upstream providers to ensure maximum redundancy. This multi homed approach, combined with the reliable iWeb network infrastructure, ensures that data remains accessible and latency is kept to a minimum for all hosted clients.

Power Infrastructure

To sustain its high density operations, iWeb CL features a 5000A 600v input power system with a total built out power capacity of 5 MW. The power backup strategy is rigorous, utilizing 2500KVA UPS units, specifically four 450kw units and one 270kw unit. In the event of a utility failure, a 3.5MW diesel generator provides the necessary bridge to maintain continuous operation without service interruption.

Cooling and Environmental Control

Temperature regulation is managed by advanced air conditioning units totaling 700 tons, utilizing a 100 percent water cooling system. The cooling architecture includes four Liebert units located in the colocation area, supplemented by eight in row XDO units. These technologies allow for precise climate control, ensuring that the high density server environment remains within optimal thermal parameters to prevent hardware degradation.

Security and Compliance

Safety and data integrity are prioritized through a multi layered security approach. The facility is protected by biometric sensors, card access controls, and 24 by 7 CCTV surveillance to monitor all movement. For disaster prevention, the center employs a pre action fire suppression system equipped with VESDA Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus. Furthermore, the facility maintains high operational standards as a DSS PCI Certified and SOC 2 Type II Certified site.

The datacenter is managed by a dedicated IT team that provides 24 by 7 monitoring of both network operations and physical infrastructure. This includes Remote Hands services, ensuring that technical assistance is available at any time of day or night.
