Montreal NGDC offers substantial capacity with seven dedicated data floors and one half-floor on the ground level. Each data floor delivers either 1.5MW or 2.0MW of standard critical power and supports high-density computing. A typical floor provides 10,000 square feet of whitespace (~20,000 gross square feet), accommodating up to 600 standard 24”W x 48”D cabinets or 370 larger 32”W x 48”D cabinets. The structural slab-to-slab height is 16'6", with a load capacity of over 200 pounds per square foot. Additional facilities include 19,140 square feet of leasable office space and 5,000 square feet of storage at basement level.

The data center supports full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace to meet diverse deployment needs. Remote hands services are available 24/7 to support ongoing operational requirements. As a purpose-built, Tier 3, multi-tenant facility, it delivers reliable and scalable infrastructure ideal for enterprise-grade workloads.

The site has a total critical power capacity of 30 MW, backed by high-efficiency static UPS systems with N+1 or 2N redundancy. Backup power is supplied by 2.75 MW diesel generators with the same redundancy levels. On-site fuel storage includes five 50,000-liter tanks and one 30,000-liter tank, providing a minimum runtime of 24 hours. Cooling is handled by distributed KyotoCooling systems with N+1 redundancy per floor. The facility consistently achieves an annualized PUE of 1.2 or better. Power distribution is supported by a 250-amp overhead busway with optional 400 KVA PDUs and 2N redundancy (480V primary, 400/230V secondary).

Montreal NGDC is designed and operated to meet Tier 3 standards, ensuring resilient infrastructure and consistent operations. The facility’s engineering supports high uptime, operational efficiency, and a best-in-class PUE.

Security at Montreal NGDC includes 24/7/365 on-site personnel, ballistic glass, reinforced walls, and electronic access control with dual authentication and biometric verification at each entry point. Continuous video surveillance covers all internal and external zones, with a minimum retention period of 30 days.

The facility offers 19,140 square feet of leasable office space, 5,000 square feet of secure basement storage, and a dedicated loading bay to facilitate equipment delivery. On-site support is available through dependable remote hands services.

As a carrier-neutral facility, Montreal NGDC provides access to multiple telecom carriers via two separate network points of entry and diverse underground duct banks. Each floor features dedicated, diverse conduits and risers, ensuring exceptional network reliability and redundancy.
