Power Infrastructure and Redundancy
The facility is designed for continuous uptime with a fully built out power capacity of 0.5 MW. DH2 operates with 2N UPS redundancy and a dedicated backup generator with a 500 kW standby rating. The power system is engineered to perform reliably in extreme environmental conditions, operating from forty degrees below zero Celsius up to plus seventy degrees Celsius, ensuring uninterrupted access to mission critical data despite Calgary’s changing climate.
Advanced Cooling and Environmental Control
Efficiency is central to the DH2 design, with an integrated raised floor system that enhances airflow and lowers overall energy consumption. HVAC systems are deployed with N+1 redundancy to maintain a resilient and fail safe operating environment.
