VIVACOM (Sofia 1) Data Center

Vivacom Data Centers are designed to meet the stringent requirements necessary for certification as a fully functional data center complex. They form part of Vivacom’s extensive support network for data transfer, integrating MAN and DWDM sites to ensure high-capacity services with exceptional reliability. The interconnection between the two data centers is established on a DWDM fiber network built in a ring topology, which provides resilient and redundant communication capabilities.

The centers are equipped with advanced infrastructure, including stable power supply systems, precision cooling, and climate control that maintain temperatures between 18–24°C and humidity levels of 40–60%. They also feature a full suite of safety mechanisms, including access control, fire alarms, and automatic fire suppression systems. Each rack is provisioned with an average power supply of 3 kW per month, with options for additional power depending on client requirements.

Vivacom Data Centers ensure continuous operation through fully redundant systems. Power is delivered through two independent routes (A and B) from separate redundant sources, each equipped with an individual electrometer. Redundancy standards include UPS redundancy (2N+1), cooling redundancy (N+1), and standby power redundancy (N+1). The use of independent power lines and redundant communication equipment guarantees service continuity even under adverse conditions.

The facilities offer a wide range of colocation services tailored to client needs. Options include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, Suites, and Footprints. Clients benefit from dedicated space for their equipment, reliable power supply, and access to Vivacom’s robust network infrastructure. Smart Hands services are also available, providing remote or on-site technical support, equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Vivacom Data Centers hold ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 9000 certifications, ensuring compliance with international standards for information security and quality management. The sites are secured with multiple layers of protection, including CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, card-based access systems, and continuous monitoring by specialized personnel.

To support client operations, the facilities include a Meet-Me-Room (MMR) for direct interconnection with Vivacom’s network and other ISPs. Additional amenities such as conference rooms and on-site parking are available for client convenience. Full 24/7/365 support is provided by a highly specialized technical team to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
