SDC Ruse is a carrier-neutral data center strategically positioned where large-capacity international routes terminate. Located at the Bulgaria–Romania border, it is directly connected via fiber optics across the water border to Romanian Internet service providers. The facility enables international operators to efficiently access the Bulgarian telecom market and extend connectivity to Eastern European countries. With a total area of 335 sq.m., a raised floor height of 0.3 m, and a maximum floor load of 2000 kg/sq.m, SDC Ruse provides robust infrastructure built for reliability and scalability.

The data center provides multiple hosting and colocation options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rack space, cages, suites, and footprints. Customers also benefit from remote hands services and access to an on-site meet-me-room (MMR). The facility supports direct interconnection with Romanian, Turkish, Greek, and Serbian operators, along with access to peering networks and one Internet Exchange Point.

SDC Ruse ensures service continuity with two independent electric power sources, AVR-controlled generators, and an extra fuel tank supporting up to 20 hours of backup. The facility features 48V power supply units and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with 2N+1 redundancy. Cooling systems are designed with N+1 redundancy for consistent climate control.

The facility adheres to international certifications including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and DSS PCI standards. It is designed as a Tier 3 data center, ensuring high availability and operational excellence. Disaster protection is reinforced through a seismic-resistant building capable of withstanding magnitude 9 earthquakes on the MSK scale, along with an advanced fire detection and suppression system (FK-5-1-12 Novec 1230).

SDC Ruse employs comprehensive fire safety with smoke detectors on the ceiling and under the raised floor, in addition to CO2 extinguishers. Automatic fire suppression systems ensure rapid response to fire hazards. Physical security is provided by on-site staff during business hours, supported by 24/7 monitoring systems for facility protection.

The data center is designed for operational efficiency with air conditioning systems for optimal temperature control, independent incoming cable lines, and a fully equipped meet-me-room. Technical staff are available 24/7, ensuring responsive support and maintenance.

Connectivity is a key strength of SDC Ruse, featuring direct access to six Tier 1 providers through two or more independent optical routes from selected telecom operators. The facility maintains interconnections with regional operators in Romania, Turkey, Greece, and Serbia, providing international carriers seamless access to Eastern Europe. Customers can leverage six peering networks and direct Internet Exchange Point access for optimized connectivity performance.
