The centerpiece of this expansion is the São Paulo facility, which serves as a critical infrastructure asset within Brazil’s primary business hub. By integrating this site into its portfolio, SBA Edge offers domestic and international enterprises strategic connectivity and secure colocation solutions designed to reduce latency and improve digital performance across Latin America.

Situated in close proximity to São Paulo’s major business districts, the facility is a cornerstone of the regional internet backbone. It boasts an exceptionally dense connectivity ecosystem, providing direct access to IX.br, which is recognized as one of the largest internet exchange points in the world. With two primary network providers and 25 peering networks currently integrated, the data center functions as a high velocity gateway for data traffic.

The infrastructure is housed within a 4,000 sq.m. building, featuring a dedicated whitespace of 1,600 sq.m. engineered to accommodate diverse hardware configurations. The facility is fully built out to support a 2 MW power load, ensuring robust performance for high density computing. To meet varying client needs, the data center offers a wide range of housing options, including full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, private cages, suites, and customized footprints.

Operational since 2001, this retrofitted sole tenant facility is built to rigorous international standards, specifically adhering to Tier 3 design principles to ensure high availability and redundancy. The site is equipped with a dedicated Meet Me Room and offers roof access for specialized equipment. Furthermore, the facility provides Remote Hands support, allowing clients to manage their infrastructure through expert onsite technical assistance without being physically present.

The facility is powered by 100% renewable energy, verified by International Renewable Energy Certificates IREC.
