The entire facility infrastructure is maintained in a climate-controlled environment and monitored 24/7. Cooling systems operate with N+1 redundancy, ensuring reliability. Interxion is dedicated to continuously improving efficiency by implementing standard features like free cooling, alongside exploring advanced solutions such as ground water cooling and waste heat re-use, all while maintaining strict reliability and availability standards.

The facility employs a world-class fire protection system that includes fire-retardant walls, Early Warning Laser Smoke Detectors (VESDA), direct lines to fire stations, and an automatic gas-based fire suppression system utilizing the INERGEN System. CCTV surveillance is also employed.

Connectivity

Connectivity is a major strength, facilitating a growing community of 17 network providers and 105 peering networks. Customers benefit from access to all major carriers and ISPs, as well as direct access to three Internet Exchange Points: BNIX, FreeBIX, and NL-ix. The facility is engineered with dual-entry fibre and provides SLA-based cross connects to reduce network access costs and improve performance.
