The DCstar datacenter in Oostkamp (near Bruges) is a Tier 3+ facility that became operational in 2010. It's a purpose-built, sole-tenant center with a fully built-out power capacity of 5 MW and a total whitespace of 3,520 sq.m. Notably, the datacenter is extremely energy efficient, boasting an impressively low PUE of 1.15.
Service Offerings
DCstar provides a flexible range of colocation products across its three locations, enabling single, twin, or multi-datacenter solutions and disaster recovery services. Customers can choose from 2N 42U racks (high or low density) in shared or private environments, as well as Partial Cabinets, Full Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites Footprints. Additional on-site support ranges from remote hands & eyes to rack & stack.
Power & Cooling Redundancy
The datacenter is built for maximum uptime, featuring 2N UPS + generator power redundancy. Cooling is handled by a redundant indirect free air & adiabatic cooling system supplemented with a chiller solution. Fire safety is ensured with a dedicated fire detection system (VESDA) and a suppression system.

The facility meets multiple high-level international certifications, including ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). It is also DSS PCI Compliant, demonstrating adherence to industry security requirements for handling payment data.

Network Connectivity
Connectivity is robust, with services including Patch to MMR (Meet-Me-Room) and 100 Mb internet access included. The network infrastructure is supported by redundant dark fiber rings (dc interconnect), multiple network break-outs, and access to 8 peering networks and 1 network provider. The Meet-Me-Room (MMR) facilitates connections with the 4 tenants offering colocation.
