The Vienna 1 Data Center is NTT DATA's first data center in Austria, strategically located in the tenth district, south-west of Vienna city center, approximately 6km from the center and 20km from Vienna International Airport. It has been operational since 2015 and is a purpose-built facility. It supports a total IT load of 15.4MW across 8,500+m² of IT space (Fully Built-Out Whitespace: 8,800 sq.m.) and operates under a sole-tenant tenancy type.
Power and Infrastructure
The facility is designed for high availability with a Fully Built-Out Power capacity of 15.2 MW. Power redundancy is maintained with a 2N UPS Redundancy utilizing two separate UPS systems (A- and B-supply). The standby power system features an N+1 redundancy using redundantly designed emergency power with diesel generators. The data center's design adheres to Tier 3 standards, including Tier 3 Certification. It offers various colocation options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites.
Cooling and Redundancy
Cooling is managed by peripheral ventilation and deventilation systems with energy-optimized operating points. The Standby Power Redundancy is N+1, as noted above. The UPS Redundancy is 2N.

Security and Safety
Security is a high priority, featuring a Fenced Perimeter, CCTV surveillance, and Card Access Control. Onsite Security Staff are present 24/7. The facility employs Automatic Firesuppression; the fire extinguishing system is based on an argon extinguishing system in building A and is supported by carbon dioxide in building B.
Connectivity
