The NEXION W1 Data Centre in Perth is a premier facility designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern enterprise IT. It is ISO27001:2013 certified, ensuring that international best practices for information security management are strictly followed. To maintain its high level of integrity, the site features a multi-layered security approach, including a fenced perimeter, mantrap entries, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Access is strictly governed through a combination of biometric and card access controls, providing a secure environment for sensitive data.

In terms of raw infrastructure, NEXION W1 is built for high-performance computing and density. The facility supports a fully built-out power capacity of 2 MW, allowing it to offer industry-benchmark power densities and usage effectiveness. The total building size spans 743 sq.m., with a dedicated whitespace of 600 sq.m. This space is utilized efficiently with a raised floor system, ensuring optimal airflow and cable management for all housed hardware.

Engineered for maximum uptime, the facility adheres to a Tier 3 design philosophy, which balances cost with high availability. This reliability is backed by N+1 cooling redundancy, ensuring that temperature-sensitive equipment remains operational even during maintenance or component failure. For fire safety, the centre utilizes an automatic fire suppression system featuring FM200 fire retardant gas, which is designed to extinguish fires without damaging delicate electronic components.

NEXION W1 offers a broad range of flexible physical configurations to suit diverse customer needs. Clients can choose from full cabinets, partial cabinets, or shared rackspace for smaller deployments.
