Pier DC is a co-location data centre located in Canning Vale, Western Australia. The facility consists of a single-storey, non-descript building spanning 3,000m² on a 9,600m² land parcel. It offers a total ICT white space of 2,500m², with further capacity for expansion.
Power and Capacity
The data centre is designed to support an ICT load capacity of 6 MW, with a fully built-out power capacity of 8 MW. It is served by two separate 22kV high-voltage feeds from independent grids, ensuring redundancy. Each rack is fitted with two PDUs, supplied through two independent distribution paths, with a maximum power allocation of 20 kW per rack.
Colocation Services
Pier DC provides a range of colocation solutions including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and suites. Additional services such as remote hands support are also available to meet diverse operational needs.
Certifications and Standards
The site infrastructure has been designed and constructed to meet the Uptime Institute Tier III standard for concurrently maintainable operations. Both the design and constructed facility certifications have been successfully achieved, ensuring compliance with international best practices.
Network and Connectivity
The facility houses a Meet-Me-Room (MMR) and supports four peering networks, though it is currently connected to one network provider. This setup allows flexible connectivity options for tenants.

Operational since 2016, Pier DC operates as a sole-tenant facility. It is a retrofitted construction with 24/7 onsite security staff to maintain the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.
